A first look under the trees, a barn full of dancing, and fireworks to finish the night. Sayler and Anthony gave their people plenty to remember at Heartland Country Barn near Fremont, Nebraska.
We joined them for the rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding, which gave the film room for more than one day’s worth of memories. There was time to hear from people, enjoy the setting, and then celebrate when the music started.
A Rehearsal Dinner That Started the Story
The rehearsal dinner gave us time to record conversations with family and friends without trying to fit everything into the wedding morning.

Wedding Morning at Heartland Country Barn
Before the main events, we spent time capturing the property and its sounds. The trees, the nearby creek, and the activity around the barn helped establish where this story was happening.
With getting ready, the ceremony, and the reception on the same property, the team could move between moments without a drive across town. That made it easier to stay connected to the day.
Bridal Prep in the Heartland Country Barn Bridal Suite
Sayler got ready in the bridal suite with her people around her. There was window light, laughter, and the happy back-and-forth of everyone helping get things ready.
For your own morning, you do not need a perfect room. A little space near a window and somewhere to keep bags out of the main area can help. Your photo and video team can work with the actual light and layout when they arrive.
Getting ready on the other side of the property.
Anthony spent the morning with his groomsmen in the groom’s suite. It was a relaxed start before the ceremony and the much bigger energy of the evening.
We also made time for a short interview outside. That conversation gave the film his voice. We made time for it without taking over the morning.
A First Look Under the Trees
Sayler and Anthony chose a first look beneath a tree near the ceremony space. A few smiles, a few tears, and a moment to be together before everyone gathered.
We helped with the location and then gave them room. Sometimes that is all the direction a moment needs.
An Outdoor Ceremony at Heartland Country Barn
The outdoor ceremony had the barn and trees behind it, with Pastor John Kunze officiating. The setting was beautiful, but the focus stayed on Sayler and Anthony and the commitment they were making.
For outdoor coverage, we plan for sound, temperature, battery life, and recording time. Equipment helps, but preparation and backup plans matter too. If you want the whole ceremony preserved, make sure that is included separately from the highlights in your film.
A Reception Inside the Heartland Country Barn
After the ceremony, guests moved inside the barn. Once Something Blu started playing, the dance floor became a big part of the night.
Sayler and Anthony had told us they wanted to remember dancing with family and friends. Knowing that beforehand helped us plan coverage around what they actually cared about.
Firepits, Fireworks, and a Grand Finale
People moved between dancing inside and catching up outdoors as the evening continued. Then everyone looked up: fireworks lit the sky above the property.
It was a pretty memorable finish. If you are planning a special ending, talk with your coverage team about the timing before booking hours. Fireworks also need advance coordination with the venue and the appropriate professionals; they are not a last-minute addition.
