A short update or a little more time

Choose the session that fits your family.

Maybe it is time for a new photograph with the kids. Maybe everyone is finally in town, grandparents included. We offer two ways to plan family photos around Norfolk and Northeast Nebraska.

Family mini sessions

Starting at $198

A 15-minute session on a planned date and at a set location. Best for smaller families who want a few fresh photographs together, without several outfit changes or a long list of group combinations.

Custom family sessions

Planned around you

More flexibility for extended families, several households or a place that matters to you. Tell us who is coming and which photographs you want; we will recommend the time and send a tailored quote.

Starting prices exclude applicable sales tax and travel. Your proposal confirms the session length, location, included finished images and final total.

Small families. A few photographs worth keeping.

Northeast Nebraska family mini sessions.

From $198 · 15 minutes

Minis keep the plan simple: a short appointment, one planned setting and photographs of your family together. They can be a good fit for parents with young children, a recent family change or an updated photograph for the wall.

If you want several family combinations, extra time for breaks or more than one setting, a custom session is usually a better fit. We will help you decide before booking.

We can plan the full group, smaller family combinations and the moments in between. Session length and price depend on the group, location and scope; you receive a quote before booking.

1. Tell us about your people.

Share the headcount, children’s ages, preferred area and any date or deadline. Mention the family combinations that matter most.

2. Choose a practical plan.

We discuss mini versus custom, location, clothing and timing. Your proposal confirms the photographs included, delivery and total.

3. Leave room to be yourselves.

We help with posing and keep talking as we work. You do not need to arrive with every expression or arrangement figured out.

Before we put a date on the calendar

Family photography questions.

Mini sessions, bigger groups and the details parents usually want to know.

What is the difference between a mini session and a custom family session?

A mini session is a 15-minute appointment on an announced date and at a planned location. It works best for a smaller family wanting a few fresh portraits. A custom family session is planned around your group, timing and the photographs you want, with more room for extended family combinations or a different location.

How much are family mini sessions?

Family mini sessions start at $198 for 15 minutes, before applicable sales tax and travel. We confirm the date, location, included finished images and any extras before you book. Custom family sessions are quoted separately.

Are any mini-session dates available now?

No mini-session dates are open right now. Ask about future sessions and share your preferred area and who will be photographed. An inquiry does not reserve a place or automatically add you to a mailing list.

Where do you photograph families in Northeast Nebraska?

We are based in Wausa and plan sessions around Norfolk and Northeast Nebraska. The autumn photographs on this page were taken at Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch in Norfolk. That is a past-session location, not a promise of current access or an upcoming event. We confirm permission, any location fees and travel before booking.

Can grandparents or several households join us?

Yes—tell us the headcount and the family combinations you want. A custom session is usually the better choice when you want individual households, grandparents with grandchildren and one large group. We will help you choose enough time instead of squeezing everything into a mini.

What if the children need a break?

Tell us their ages and any needs that will help us plan. We give simple direction and leave room for natural interaction. If your family needs a slower pace or breaks, ask about a custom session rather than a fixed 15-minute mini.

What should we wear for fall family photos?

Start with comfortable clothes that work together without needing to match exactly. Consider the location, layers and shoes you can walk in. Share your outfit ideas if you would like help choosing. For autumn sessions, plan for changing temperatures and bring what your children need to stay comfortable.

How many images do we receive, and when?

Your proposal confirms the number of finished photographs, how you select favorites, the delivery timeframe and any optional extra images or printed products. We do not promise the same image count for every session. Tell us about a holiday-card or gift deadline before booking.

What happens if the weather changes?

Outdoor sessions depend on the forecast, light and safe conditions. We discuss the weather plan and rescheduling terms before booking and stay in touch about the session. Location access and any venue restrictions also need to be confirmed.

Let’s start with your family

Who do you want in the photograph?
