I’m Trevor. I started Fox Brush Films, and my wife Hannah and I now lead it together from Wausa, Nebraska. She leads photography. I lead videography (and can probably talk about microphones longer than you wanted).
Wedding photography and wedding films are our specialty. We also make commercial videos, photograph professional headshots and help businesses show what they actually do.
We have built a recurring team of photographers, filmmakers and editors who train with us here in Northeast Nebraska. We know the people we send to your day. We have met them, worked with them and spent time showing them how we do things.
Before a shoot, we figure out the crew, timeline, audio, lighting and backup plan. Afterward, the creative editing stays with our team. If something needs explaining, we can talk to the person who was there.
That connection matters to us. It is a big part of why we built Fox Brush Films this way.

Then we work together.
Our photography and videography team gets together at our Wausa home base once or twice a year. We practice lighting, camera settings, flash, interviews and audio. We go through the equipment, compare what worked on recent shoots and get everybody on the same page.
Some of it is very practical. Where should a microphone go? How do we light a dark room without making it look like a dark room with a giant light in it? How do photo and video share a small space without getting in each other’s shot? We would rather practice those things here.
Before your wedding or commercial shoot, we assign roles and work through the schedule. On larger days we use headsets to stay connected across rooms. That preparation gives us more room to pay attention to you.

Who will cover your day? We talk through that during planning. You can ask who is coming, how they have trained with us and who will edit the work afterward. Those are fair questions.

Who will be on our day?
We match the crew to your project and talk through it with you during planning. Some of us work in more than one role; this is our team, not a promise that all eight of us will turn up at your wedding. You usually get to know your primary photographer months before the day.
The creative edit stays with our team. We use software to help cull and organize files, but people make the final selections, color and story decisions. If there is a question about a moment, we can talk to the person who captured it.

What working with us looks like

Tell us your date, location and what you want covered. We will talk through photo, video or both on a consultation call. For commercial work, we start with who you want to reach and what you need the finished project to do.

We agree on the coverage and deliverables, then send your contract, invoice and questionnaire. You know what is included before booking. If you are bundling photography and videography, we plan them as one project.

We meet over Zoom, work through the timeline and learn what matters to you. The number of planning and story calls depends on your collection. We also sort out crew roles, locations, sound and lighting so you are not answering those questions while getting ready.

Your trained photo and video crew arrives with a plan and stays in communication throughout the coverage you booked. We give direction when it helps, then leave room for real moments. Good audio, family photos and the little things happening in the other room all need somebody paying attention.

Our team handles the creative edit, including photo selections, color, sound and the shape of your film. We deliver the finished work through a private gallery or viewing link. The delivery schedule and included edits are outlined in your collection or project agreement.
