Most days, I’m working with our team at Fox Brush Films. Outside of that, I run. And somewhere along the way, running with three balls became a thing I do.
I’ve juggled two full marathons. I like the challenge, and I like that it gives people something to smile about. You don’t have to be a runner to get a kick out of it.

So… 200 miles?
I’m looking into running a 200-mile ultramarathon while juggling. That could mean around four days out there. Before I get ahead of myself, there’s a lot to figure out: training, race rules, a crew and the budget.
Our Fox Brush Films team did some filming around the Cowboy 200 in 2026, and we’re working toward more coverage and a mini documentary in 2027. Being around it made me want to explore an attempt myself.
I haven’t confirmed a race, date or entry. If your business wants to help me work toward it, I’d love to talk.

Do I have to be the race organizer to suggest a race?
No. Send me the event name and a link. If we decide to pursue it, I’ll still need to check with the organizer about juggling on the course.
What does a sponsorship include?
We decide that together. It might include a webpage mention, a jersey placement or agreed photo/video content. Shoulder placements and custom headbands, wristbands, socks or juggling balls are additional ideas as support grows. Your agreement lists what’s included and when.
Does an annual partnership include every race?
No. We’ll agree on a realistic race or appearance schedule and what happens if plans change. The starting amount doesn’t cover unlimited events.
Will my logo be in every photograph or video?
Not necessarily. Weather, race rules and camera angles can affect what’s visible. I’ll be clear about the placements and content I can commit to instead of promising exposure I can’t control.

Okay, this one might be a little ridiculous. I’m exploring a potential 200-mile juggling ultramarathon in 2028, and I’d love to talk with sponsors who want to help make it possible. The race, route and logistics are not confirmed yet. If you’re curious, let’s talk about the idea.
Yes, I actually run like this.
I’m Trevor McQuay, the person behind Fox Brush Films in Wausa, Nebraska. Husband, dad, filmmaker and, for reasons that made perfect sense at the time, a joggler.
That means running while juggling three balls. So far, two full marathons and 52.4 race miles. Apparently running 26.2 miles was not inconvenient enough.
It is absolutely a dorky thing to do. That is part of the fun. People smile, somebody inevitably asks if I drop them, and we all have something a little different to talk about.

I like running while juggling. Businesses like people seeing their names. It works out pretty well.

WHAT I CAN HONESTLY PROMISE
I will make a real effort to wear and tag current sponsor branding in training, race-day and social content whenever it makes sense.
I will not promise that every post, run or appearance will show every sponsor. Sometimes race rules, weather, laundry or the wrong shirt wins. Sometimes I am simply forgetful. Sometimes I forget to post anything at all. I would rather say that now than pretend I am a flawless brand ambassador. I am not.
What I will promise is that every guaranteed webpage placement, jersey placement and planned piece of sponsor content will be written down clearly before we begin. Anything beyond that is honest, best-effort exposure as the training and races happen.

That could be a 5K, 10K, half marathon, full marathon, ultra, relay or the run leg of a triathlon. For obvious reasons, I will not be juggling during the swimming or biking parts. I make questionable decisions, but I do have limits.

A requested race appearance, travel requirement or dedicated Fox Brush Films commercial production may need its own custom plan beyond an annual partnership.

A FEW THINGS WE’VE BEEN JUGGLING LATELY
COMMERCIAL FILM: WAUSA COMMUNITIES FOR KIDS
One of my favorite recent commercial and community projects. We interviewed parents, childcare providers and local leaders, then built the film around the people actually doing the work in Wausa. Real voices, real places and no corporate script trying to sound human.
WEDDING FILM: KYLIE + CHASE
Kylie and Chase built Venue 5 Twenty-Two, then trusted our in-house Nebraska team to film their own wedding there. This trailer is one of my favorite examples of what happens when the people, place, audio and visuals all get to tell the same story.
